One of the toughest parts of the college application is the required personal essay. This presentation will show students how to write a strong personal essay that tells their story and strengthens their application. This program is intended for rising high school seniors. We will cover:

Christine Giamalis is the founder and owner of Your Best Personal Essay (YourBestPersonalEssay.com), a consulting practice that assists high school students with their college application essays. A graduate of Georgetown University and Cornell Law School, Ms. Giamalis worked as an attorney in private practice for ten years.
After retiring, she discovered a second career as a college advisor, working for both The Hartford Consortium for Higher Education and the Imagine College Program at Manchester High School. She established Your Best Personal Essay in 2016 and has served as a writing coach for both U.S. and international high school students, helping them craft personal and supplemental essays for their college applications.
Ms. Giamalis is a resident of Niantic and a member of the Board of Trustees of the East Lyme Public Library.
