Bradley Field During World War II

This program will be held virtually.

September 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the closing of Bradley Field, a World War II airbase. Phil Devlin, a retired educator, will present this virtual program with a unique and intimate insight into the history of the airfield. Phil’s father, three uncles, an aunt, and three of his brothers were all stationed at Bradley for many years. Anecdotal in nature, this presentation will focus on the notable people and units associated with Bradley during the war. Phil will share his research of the airfield’s history which teems with interesting stories that few are aware of.
