East Lyme Agri-Business Winter Seminar: Existing and Emerging Tick and Tick-borne Disease Challenges as a Serious Public Health Concern

Dr. Goudarz Molaei, of the Department of Entomology (CT Agricultural Experiment Station) and Department of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases (Yale School of Public Health), will discuss the increased risk of exposure to ticks and tick-borne pathogens. Over the past two decades, numerous tick-borne pathogens have been discovered, and the geographic ranges of both native and invasive ticks has expanded.

This event will be held in the Library’s East Lyme Room and is co-sponsored by East Lyme Agri-Business Committee and East Lyme Public Library.
