Sal, a guitar, bass, keyboard player and vocalist, was born into rock and roll in the 50's after hearing Elvis, Bobby Darrin, Brenda Lee, and The Four Tops, then The Beatles, Stones, and Dave Clark Five in the 60's. Sal was also inspired by Eric Clapton, Santana, and Steve Winwood. Meld those influences and others from folk, country and the blues, and you end up with the big hunk of music called Sal Basile. Recently retired after 35 years as an English teacher in Hartford, Sal now devotes his time and energy to singing and playing. We hope you'll join us for the fun!
