Alternative Landscapes that Benefit Water Quality

  • East Lyme Public Library 39 Society Road Niantic, CT 06357 (map)

All of Connecticut is connected to Long Island Sound and what we do in our landscapes impacts the health of the Sound, even in parts of the state far from the coast. President and Program Coordinator at Wild Ones Mountain Laurel Chapter, Lydia Pan, PhD Biologist, will explain how human development impacts Long Island Sound, about non-point source pollution, green infrastructure, and what each of us can do in our own back yards and communities to benefit water quality and the health of our surrounding environment more generally. This program is co-sponsored by the Commission for the Conservation of Natural Resources and Pollinator Pathway East Lyme.

Program registration is required. Click here to register.
