Join us for an evening with Peter J. Emanuel, Jr as he walks us through his latest work, Course Change: The Whaleship Stonington in the Mexican-American War. Peter is a retired educator and musician in New London County, Connecticut. Peter earned a bachelor of science in education from the University of Connecticut in 1977 and a masters in history from American Public University in 2012. He began teaching at The Williams School, a private college preparatory school in New London, in 1991, and would later become History Department Head at The Williams School of New London in 2014.
