Join Lydia Pan from the Mountain Laurel Chapter of the Wild Ones for a look at the top ten invasives in Connecticut and how to remove them. Lydia will define invasives, explain why they are so bad for our environment, and explain how to ID and remove or control them. She will also talk about nonchemical options for removing invasives, such as solarizing and smothering to clear unwanted vegetation from a site to prepare for planting.
