Rev. Terrlyn L. Curry Avery, Ph.D., will discuss her new book Dismantling Racism: Healing Separation from the Inside Out. The word racism carries a heavy burden, and the thought of dismantling it has even more weight. In Dismantling Racism, Rev. Dr. Curry Avery leads the charge against fear, guilt, and shame that often come with addressing racism and guides her readers through the landmines of injustice. Rev. Dr. Curry Avery is a pastologist (ordained minister and licensed psychologist), TEDx speaker, and author of Sacred Intelligence: The Essence of Sacred, Selfish & Shared Relationships.
