Award winning author and pop culture historian Marty Gitlin hosts this fun and enlightening program based on his book, The Greatest Sitcoms of All Time, which looks at shows including I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, The Andy Griffith Show, Get Smart, All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Cheers, Seinfeld, The Golden Girls, Frasier and The Big Bang Theory. He will show funny snippets of these shows and others, challenge patrons with sitcom trivia, discuss the criteria he used to rank the shows, and talk about how they evolved over the decades.
