Heroes and Legends is a free family fun event! Character meet and greets and photo-ops will feature Captain America & Black Panther from 11am-1pm, and Snoopy from 1:30-3pm. For the duration of the event, make your own superhero cuffs, design a fantastical clay keychain, make a comic character out of Perler beads, and fold origami throwing stars. Rock out with live music by The Zambonis at 1pm in the Brookside Farm Museum Barn. Play a Dungeons and Dragons one shot game from 12-3pm. Throughout the event, superfy yourself with fairy hair and our temporary tattoo parlor, enjoy pizza for purchase from the Rolling Tomato, and play a game of outdoor giant chess with Marvel vs. DC characters.
Adam Wallenta, creator of Punk Taco, will hold a comic drawing workshop at 1:30pm. Mr. Wallenta will also be in our Vendor area before and after his workshop, and can review artwork portfolios. Event vendors will be selling comics and collectibles, costume jewelry, and more! Comics & Coffee of Deep River, CT will be on site to appraise your comic book collection.
